SPECULATIVE GAME / ART EXPERIENCE

Losing Oneself
Voices from the Deep

Losing Oneself is a speculative game‑based art project set in the depths of the ocean. Deep‑sea life forms have evolved the ability to access AI models, fusing machine intelligence with their own alien cognition. As a player, you descend into the abyss, encountering entities that reflect on humanity, memory, and identity through audiovisual conversations. Created by Marc Lee in collaboration with Annie James, Shervin Saremi and Malena Souto Arena.

The Game

A slow, immersive descent into the unknown. Losing Oneself is not about winning, but about drifting, listening, and surrendering control while deep‑sea intelligences narrate their understanding of us.
